Outreach

The Bridge has a very successful Outreach Team consisting of teachers and Senior Teaching Assistants. The Outreach Team works with Islington schools to support pupils with autistic spectrum disorders, severe learning difficulties, and profound and multiple learning difficulties in mainstream settings. The work of the team is to empower and develop skills of mainstream staff.

The team undertake observations and assessment to provide informed advice to school staff. They also offer examples of good practice and arrange visits for staff to see good practice at The Bridge School.
